I cherish still being able to hear that word. Mama. In my mind my kids are still two and five, but in reality they are now eight and almost six years old. Soon mama will be replaced with mom. Soon they won't need my help with opening drinks or doors. I try my best to hold on to this time because as we all know -- these moments are fleeting and they will be gone when I blink. Lilian, my oldest, is literally a mini me. She loves with all she has and her tender heart is what makes her extra special. She's a deep thinker, wants to know all there is, and strives for perfection.  Jordan is quite the opposite. He's a carefree soul who enjoys the simple things in life. If he can play fight with you all day he would be the happiest boy. He's a full on mama's boy, always happy, and he gives THE best hugs.

Friends are a constant with me. I love meeting people. Growing up I always had a need to include others and make people feel special. It's something I don't realize I'm doing. I gravitate towards people and enjoy learning and connecting with new people. Once you're my friend -- I'm all in! I'm a natural at serving others and caring for their needs. Some call it people pleasing -- I call it servant leadership. 

Yes, you heard that right, Boo Boo. It all started with a blind date in 1998 and ended with a husband, Anthony, who calls me Boo Boo. It's a nickname he started back in the early 2000's and it stuck. How many people can say they married their best friend on a blind date? He's the ying to my yang, the He-Man to my She-Ra, the butter to my jelly. Oh, and he makes the bomb breakfast every weekend. Anthony is my comic guru husband who enjoys everything comedy, music, and podcasts.  I couldn't imagine doing life without him.
